"Beckett Auction Chief Honored"
At the yearly convention for WVAA auctioneers held at the Charleston, WV Holiday Inn, Larry Beckett,
of Beckley's Beckett Auction, was elected to serve a three year term as a member of the WVAA Board
of Directors.
Commenting on his election Beckett stated; "I am honored and thrilled to be elected to this position of
trust and confidence by my peers. I will do my best to help develop our association into the finest and
best educated in the nation."
During the convention Beckett also completed the continuing education requirements for both, his
Real Estate license and his WV Auctioneers license.
Beckett Awarded "Certificate of Appreciation"
At the April meeting of the WVAA, Larry Beckett of Beckett Auction and Appraisal was awarded a
Certificate of Appreciation for the Executive Director for his efforts in helping WV Auctioneers meet
their continuing education requirements. Beckett is an instructor in WV auction law and rules and
regulations. Beckett also teaches seminars on Revolutionary through Civil War militaria. How to spot
false documents and papers as well as training on auction of these types of items, are also part of his

Larry Beckett stands at his business Beckett Auction and Appraisal. Beckett is an auctioneer who uses the auction method
of fund raising to help businesses and individuals successfully raise from hundreds to millions of dollars. They auction
